Donations to the Del Norte High School Athletic Foundation will be used to help all sports at Del Norte High School.  Click below to make a donation to the Athletic Foundation general fund.  

The Athletic Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2017 to bridge the large gap between student’s needs and state/district funding by raising money through donations and special events. Thanks to the support of generous donors, the mission of the Athletic Foundation is to enhance the educational and athletic experience for all DNHS students.


Students who participate in athletic programs are encouraged to support a voluntary one-time sports program donation each season. This amount varies by sport and helps cover the cost of bus transportation, uniforms, equipment, coaches, and tournaments for the year.  Your Coach will inform you of this one-time voluntary donation amount.

The Poway Unified School District appreciates school-community cooperation to support our various athletic programs. Most schools like Del Norte High School can no longer afford to fund many of our athletic programs and activities, so voluntary donations from parents or guardians are requested to offset the costs. California law does not allow school districts to require fees from students for curricular and extracurricular activities. All students may participate in extracurricular activities regardless of whether a donation is made.
